Helpline volunteers are caring, compassionate people who enjoy working with others. Volunteers are carefully screened and trained for a variety of assignments. Whether covering a regular shift each week or helping with a one time special project, Helpline Volunteers make a positive difference in people’s lives and develop skills that are useful in a variety of settings.

Volunteer duties may include:

Client Screeners
Interview clients to determine needs and make appropriate referrals.

Data Entry & Clerical

Compile files and enter data in an Excel Spreadsheet. Assist with preparation of statistical reports.

Custodial
General maintenance duties to ensure a safe, clean environment.

Committees & Special Projects
Volunteers assist with making posters, contacting businesses, preparing newsletters and other duties as needed.
