Artists and Non-Artists Needed to "SoupPort" Helpline

Helpline’s annual signature fundraising event, SoupPort, is coming up Wednesday, April 13th and we need your help in creating beautiful bowls for event goers to select and take home as a “keepsake” – after they’ve enjoyed a delicious serving of soup.

Do you have an artistic flair or a desire to tap into your potential? How about sharing your talent by painting bowls? Or if art just isn’t your thing, you can still help by “sponsoring” a bowl for a local artist to paint. You might also think about gathering a group of friends or co-workers for a fun painting party – all for a great cause!

Helpline is pleased to partner with the Pottery Painting Studio at Carnegie in this fun and creative effort. The cost to participate is $10.89 per bowl.  You can stop by the studio any time during their regular hours, or contact Patrice Townsend at the Pottery Painting Studio at301.9640 or patrice.e.townsend@gmail.com to set up a time for a private group studio session. (min. 8 people)

While you’re there be sure to pick up your discounted $25 ticket to SoupPort. Tickets at the door will be $30.
